The
Hotel Yerevan Restaurant is located inside the Hotel Yerevan, across
the Moscow movie theater on Abovian Street. The place is very impressive
with the great interior design and large specious dining room. The restaurant
is a favorite place of westerners and it is not so crowded in evenings.
It is a very impressive place and great for the romantic or formal dinner.
Restaurant Design - Excellent
The Hotel Yerevan Restaurant is one of the best-designed restaurants
in Armenia. The style of the restaurant is influenced by the Italian
owners of the Hotel Yerevan. It has the classic style with the large,
dining area in the atrium. Overall the restaurant is bright with the
positive atmosphere.
Service - Excellent
The service is probably the best among all restaurants of Yerevan. The
waiters and waitress were professional and paid constant attention to
the customers. The response time was minimal and staff was polite and
courteous.
Food and Drinks - Average
The Yerevan Hotel Restaurant serves the Italian food with Armenian flavor.
As much as we liked the design and the service we did not find their
food to match other restaurants in our reviews. The steak was overcooked
however the pasta dishes were acceptable, but not exceptional. Our dinner
was garnished by an excellent 1991, Areni red wine and Italian lemon
brandy.
Prices - Expensive $$$$
The dinner with the drinks will cost you around $15 per person. It is
not as expensive as it looks inside, considering exceptional service
the prices are acceptable.
