Deauville is located
on the Bagramian Avenue, across the Thailand embassy.
The Deauville is a nice restaurant
that serves some French dishes. It is conveniently located on the beginning
of Bagramian Avenue not far from Cascade. Location and quick service
makes this place perfect for daytime visits or for a short coffee brake.
Restaurant Design -Good
The Deauville has two floors designed in standard and formal way. The
first floor dining room is nice, but dark red theme creates an edgy
atmosphere. The second floor is executed in bright light colors, however
the ceiling is too low and it feels remote and disconnected. In summertime,
Deauville opens its sidewalk café section, which is very loud
and windy.
Service - Very Good
Service in Deauville is very good and the staff is professional. Some
of the waiters and waitress could not explain their dishes. Other than
that you will find friendly staff and great management.
In wintertime, Deauville gets saturated with the cigarette smoke that
makes existence in restaurant unbearable. We hope that the staff will
fix the smoke problem in the near future.
The red interior is
interesting, but creates an edgy atmosphere.
Food and Drinks - Good
The Dauville makes one of the best pancakes in Yerevan. We recommend
their summer salad, mushroom dishes and appetizers. The only dishes
that we found unsatisfactory were beefsteaks. They also serve great
cakes, ice cream and very good espresso. Drinks in Deauville are limited
to good vodka and beer, their wine selection is not as good as in other
compatible restaurants. Overall, Deauville worth the visit and it is
a good place for quick dinner or lunch.
Prices - Moderate $$$
We rate Deauville moderately priced restaurant. A good dinner will cost
you around $10 per person. In general, Deaville's prices are standard
and very similar to Marco Polo or Caucasus Tavern.
